Glass Gem Corn must be the most beautiful in the world. Its so gorgeous that it has provoked a bidding war where a pack of seeds sold for more than $100. This rare and unique strain of flint corn was developed by Cherokee Indian Carl Barnes.
Because of its beauty this rare heirloom is used ornamentally, Popcorn, or ground into cornmeal. Plants can reach up to 8 ft tall and ears 8-10" long with beautiful colors of white, orange, purple, blue, red, and gold kernels.
For proper pollination of corn it is best planted in squares and not rows. Corn is mostly pollinated by wind so make sure you have enough seeds for a block of corn.
Original strain 110-120 days These are rare heirloom, organic non gmo seeds . Open Pollinated.
