Chioggia Beets is a beautiful heirloom with sweet mild flavor. Alternating red and white rings or stripes running through the beets depending on which way you cut it adding spectacular coloring to soups, stews and garnishes.

As an early harvesting variety it is also known to bleed less than other beets. It won't bleed onto your other ingredients like the other varieties can.

Sometimes called Candy stripe Beet or Bull’s Eye Beet, it is distinguished from other varieties by the alternating concentric rings of scarlet red and white inside. Many people say these beets are sweeter, milder or more peppery than the typical red beets. The leaves are medium height with green stems and red shading. Its an early harvester. Tops are green with a pink striped stem and can be enjoyed like spinach.
