Bachelor Button (Centaurea cyanus) A colorful early blooming mix of blue, purple, pink, red and white. Easily grown from seed and performs well in most zones. Plants grow to 36” tall. Excellent cut flower, and edible flower. One of the easiest flowers to sow from seed. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Bachelor Buttons are one of the most loved annuals, being prolific, growing all summer and their colorful beauty. They are one of the easiest flowers to grow from seed and are a hardy plant.

Liking full sun and most any soil will do, Bachelor Buttons also known as cornflower, grow well in containers and in the landscape.

Sow in Autumn or early spring.

These are very healthy seeds. I put three in soil ...

These are very healthy seeds. I put three in soil as soon as I received them. Three days later two had sprouted! Then two more days and there is a true leave peeking out on two of them and the third one is trying to sprout. I will try to post two pics but I am not sure if I will be able to I am not good with electronic devices.
