Red Bud Trees are a beauty all its own. Native to China these spectacular pink flowering trees make a statement. They are extremely fast growers that have beautiful leaves that are rounded shaped.

In early spring, before leaf-out, a profusion of small, sweet pea–shaped, lavender-pink to rosy purple flowers appears on the twigs, branches, and even the main trunk. Colorful blossoms attract varieties of birds and wildlife. Next comes broad, rounded or heart-shaped leaves that may change to bright yellow in fall.

Red bud make gorgeous lawn trees, look great in groupings, and have their place in shrub borders and even foundation plantings. In winter, the dark, leafless branches form an attractive silhouette, especially effective against a light-colored wall. These are a beauty all its own. Easy and fast grower.
